Accessibility
At Frith Meadow, we aim to provide clear, accurate information to help guests decide whether our accommodation meets their individual access needs. Due to the natural, rural setting of our site, access may not be suitable for all guests. We encourage anyone with access requirements to contact us prior to booking.

Advance contact is encouraged for guests with mobility based disabilities or specific access requirements.

Arrival & Parking
From the main road there is a 5 bar gate with a chain, these needs to be left closed after use.
The track is steep in places- please use a low gear and drive slowly
There is a cattle grid at the top of the track, you will have to pass this carefully
There is another 5 bar gate here- please leave it as you find it.
Follow signage into the woodland and around into the meadow
Parking is located close to the accommodation.
The route from parking to the cabin is made up of stone and is slightly uneven in places
There is a step when leaving the main parking area up onto the decking
External Access to the Cabin
The cabin has wrap around decking.
Access is available via ramped decking to both the front and rear entrances.
Please note that some gradients are present along the decking.
Internal Access
There is a small set of steps within the adjoining internal walkway.
Door widths and circulation space may not be suitable for all wheelchair users.
The accommodation is therefore best described as semi accessible, rather than fully wheelchair accessible.
Bathroom Facilities
The bathroom includes accessibility focused fixtures designed to improve comfort and ease of use.
Family & Additional Needs
Baby and toddler equipment is available on request.
Furnishings, bedding, and towel arrangements can be adapted where possible to suit individual guest needs.
Dogs
Dog are welcomed (at a additional cleaning fee cost)
Water bowls, treats and poo bags are provided but please bring your leads, beds and towels
Please leave dog waste in the bins provided outside
A dog washing station is provided- please turn on the hose at the tap.
We ask that dogs are not allow on the furniture
We ask that dogs are kept in sight at all times to protect the natural habitats surrounding the meadow
There is a lead rein provided at the base of the decking so your pooch can access the meadow on a lead
Lighting & Sensory Environment
External lighting is minimal and dark sky friendly.
Warm, downward facing lighting is used to reduce glare.
Lanterns are provided with battery powered tea lights for your safety for safe movement around the site after dark.
Guests should be comfortable navigating low level lighting in a rural environment.
Sustainability & Support Services (Relevant to Accessibility)
The site operates off grid using solar power.
Water is supplied from an on site borehole and filtered for safe use.
Waste is treated on site using an independent treatment facility.
Assistance & Customer Care
We offer flexible booking arrangements in cases of illness or accident.
Payment by instalments may be arranged on request.
Activity suggestions can be tailored to guests interests and abilities.
